It's a gorgeous day in Minnesota and we can't wait to tell you about what's happening at The Porch! It's already almost the middle of July and you know what that means...Quilting in the Pines is only two weeks away. The big day is July 26 starting at 10am. We want to have quilts waving in the breeze all around the store and the popcorn machine will be popping all day long. There will be incentives for you to enter more quilts, so check our website under EVENTS for the details.

We are once again participating in the state-wide shop hop, QUILT MINNESOTA, which will run from August 1 - 17. Holly Taylor and Moda Fabrics have outdone themselves with the exclusive line of up-north fabric for this years' event. Be sure to check the website at www.quiltmn.com for the details and to view the fabulous fabric.

Before you know it, it will be time for our annual Maplelag Retreat on November 6 - 9. We will only be able to take 70 registrants this year and these spots will be offered first those who attended last year. Open registration will begin on August 15. You can expect some changes in this years' event and we think you are really going to like it!

We're working on our fall class schedule and hope to have that ready for you soon.
